I would like to use your image of a Cambodian Stilt House in an academic journal article that I am writing. Would you grant me permission to do so?

    Thank you

    Hi Ana and Bruno!

I read your report about Annapurna trek: https://anabruno.wordpress.com/2008/05/07/

You mentioned somewhere that it was quite cold at nights in the tea houses. Say, what month were you there? Curious, cause I’m going to trek there this autumn, October or early November.
    Thanks,
    Yaroslav.

    • 22 bruno March 27, 2011 at 4:16 pm

Hi Yaroslav, sorry for my late response….
We were in the Annapurna’s in April, which is the warmest/driest season I believe.
It does get cold at night, specially when above 3000 meters. During the day as long as you are in the sun its quite warm….
The guest houses are prepared for the cold, they give you tons of blankets!
Heating in the guesthouses beyond 3000 meters is scarce, because there aren’t many trees to get the heating fuel from…
However they usually have a fireplace where you can warm up, dry your clothes and talk to fellow trekkers about your adventures =)

      Have fun!

      Bruno

    Beijinhos e Safe Travels,

    Eva
